ADP Data Show U.S. Companies Added 177,000 Jobs in June

Companies continued to add workers to U.S. payrolls at a solid pace in June, data from the ADP Research Institute showed Thursday.

Private payrolls rose by 177,000, according to ADP, while the median estimate of economists surveyed by Bloomberg called for an advance of 190,000. The gain in the prior month was revised to 189,000 from 178,000.
